林容生，现为中国国家画院专职画家，中国美术家协会会员，中国书法家协会会员，福建省美术家协会副主席，福建师范大学特聘教授、硕士生导师。北京唐风美术馆特聘画家。1958年生于福洲，1982年毕生于福建师范大学美术系。作品曾参加1989年全国第七届美展、1993年全国届首届中国画展、1994年第八届全国美展优秀作品展、1997年中国当代艺术大展、1999年第九届全国美展、2001年百年中国画展、2003年北京国际美术双年展、2004第十届全国美展等重要展览。并获1989年中国当代工笔山水画展一等奖，1991年“中国的四季”美术展铜奖、1992年全国首届中国山水画展铜奖、1994年第二届枫叶奖国际水墨大展金牌、1999年第九届全国美展优秀奖等。作品被中国美术馆、中国画研究院等单位收藏，入编《中国现代美术全集》、《现代山水画库》、等大型画集。出版有《当代中国画精品集——林容生》、《林容生新工笔山水》。Lin Rong-sheng, currently he is full time painter of Chinese art academy, and the member of Chinese artists association, and the member of Chinese calligraphers association, and vice chairman of Fujian province artists association, and distinguished professor and master tutor of Fujian normal university. He is a specially appointed painter of Beijing Tangfeng gallery. He was born in Fuzhou in 1958, and graduated from Fujian normal university department of fine arts. His works ever showed in the seventh session national fine arts exhibition in 1989, and showed in national session of the first China art exhibition, and showed in the eighth national excellent art exhibition, and showed in Chinese contemporary art exhibition in 1997, and showed in the ninth session of the national art exhibition in 1999, and showed in Chinese painting century exhibition in 2001, and showed in Beijing international art biennale in 2003, and showed in the tenth national fine art exhibition in 2004, and so on. He was awarded the first prize of Chinese contemporary claborate-style landscape painting in 1989, and was awarded bronze medal of “Chinese four season” art exhibition in 1991, and was awarded bronze medal of the first session Chinese landscape painting exhibition in 1992, and was awarded gold medal of the second session maple leaf prize international ink painting exhibition in 1994, and was awarded excellence award of the ninth session national art exhibition in 1999, and so on. His works were collected by national art museum of China, and academy of Chinese painting, etc., his works incorporated into 《Complete works of modern Chinese art》、《Modern landscape painting storehouse》、and some large-scale album. He published 《Contemporary Chinese painting fine set——Lin Rong-sheng》, and《Lin Rong-sheng new claborate landscape painting》.
